BT Infinity High line noise

I had my line reset around 2 weeks ago, the hub has been plugged in ever since and was automatically restarted and resynced 3 days. There has been no disconnected before that and it seemed stable so i thought maybe the line noise would go down and maybe I would get a better ping? Is there an issue on my line or does it take longer for the exchange to reduce my line noise ratio?

There is no issue. Basically, you are getting the max for Infinity 1 and there is room to spare to give you higher speeds if you were on Infinity 2 hence the higher noise margin.

There is nothing wrong with your noise  margin. It is higher than the norm of 6dB due to your line being capable of higher speeds than Infinity 1.

Is there any reason why I am getting a ping of around 20? I used to get below 10 when it was first installed and when the line was reset a few days ago but it has risen and has stayed there.
I would prefer as low ping as possible for gaming.

It could be down to the game server that you are using and there will not be a lot if anything you can do about that.

The best option is connecting to the hub using Ethernet but if you are playing by wireless you could try changing the wireless channel. The channel you are on could be congested.
