We have had five engineers come to our premises to try and upgrade to BT Infinity from Business broadband. They have left us withoutbroadband service and without access to our VOIP number which is the main number for our business. We have spent hours trying to resolve this by phone, to no avail.
Based on our experience:
1) If you try to upgrade to BT Infinity, beware you may be left with no or intermittent broadband connection for weeks
2) If you are using a VOIP number, if anything goes wrong with your installation you may be left without service for weeks
3) If anything goes wrong with your installation, BT may send a succession of engineers, none of whom solves the problem.
We will keep readers updated with any progress on our Infinity upgrade and complaint to BT about this matter.
