Re: BT Retail Server Issue - why book engineers for home visit?

Openreach, who do the work, normally aim to fix the fault within three working days for residential customers.

Re: BT Retail Server Issue - why book engineers for home visit?

I contacted BT again today - as I was promised a call back yesterday and not received.

The latest agent has now told me that there is a 'data integrity' issue with my account details.

Anyone know what this means?

Re: BT Retail Server Issue - why book engineers for home visit?

@umaradam sorry about this, a data integrity issue normally means there is a error with the information on your BT account that can't be changed or corrected by our normal systems. These problems need to be referred to a specialist team to correct which can take time to resolve.

If you use the 'contact the mods' link in my forum profile under the 'about me' section to send in your details we can chase this up for you. You can find the link by clicking on my username.

Thanks

Neil

Thanks NielO

I have submitted a question via the contact the mods link -

Do you have any idea as to how this happens & how long it takes to fix?

Thanks so much for picking up on this.
