BT UltraFast Fibre

Hi all

Just had BT Ultrafast Fibre installed and i am getting 100mb and am getting great speeds wired. On wifi thought the best i can get is 25mb, do i need to update a setting on the router to fix this?

I'd update the wireless driver first.

I am running all apple devices are they are all clocking in at around 35MBS on wifi, my wired imac is hitting 100MBS

Try changing wireless channel manually rather than relying on smart wireless.

So after switching off the smart functionality in wireless i get the following:

Over 100MB when 5Ghz is only enabled

Around 30Ghz when i enable 2.4 and 5 

Still cant quite understand why enabling the 2.4 throttles the speed? 

BTW i am right beside the router when running these tests
