BT speedtester has gone ape

Go to solution

The previously reliable www.speedtest.btwholesale.com has now started returning FAKE NEWS results ie my download is showing as 231Mbps...we all wish. Running Win7.

I would add that Speedtest by Ookla is showing predictable results. Reason for checking was attrocious problems with Hightail.

there are previous posts about this and solution appears to be to use IE/Edge and not firefox/chrome

Yes, tried it with IE and it works as expected. I had done a search and came up with nothing recent.
