BT unlimited fibre 1 speed dropping low

Iv had this problem before around this time last year, for the last two nights at around 7pm until midnight my speed drops as low as 2mb. I contaced live support and they said its a faulty hub but as it works perfect fine from the hours of 12 am until 7pm i dont see how this can be the case.

It could be congestion.

so tomorrow i should do tests throughout the day and screenshot and post here, Iv had this exact same problem before and it was congestion the last time.

One test during the day, and a final test when its slow, should be enough.

I will ask a moderator to look at the status of the exchange shown on your screenshot.

If you had the same problem last year then you should know ringing support is a waste of time as it's not in their remit.

Always come here first.

Am I supposed to know it's not in their remit? I contacted them to find out if there was a fault in my line or should I not have done that?

Hi Deans91

I've checked the exchange Glenboig and it's not showing any congestion issues. However it could still be an issue please run the tests and post back today as advised on this thread.

I've also enabled the contact the mods link in my profile for you please send us in your details so we can run further tests as well.

There is indeed a congestion issue on your line, I am sorry about that. I have contacted the relevant team and you should see an improvement by tomorrow evening. Could you check this and let us know if there's a problem after this time, and I'll take it from there?

So iv waited the 24hours from when you said and my speed are still very low, heres a speed test from 7pm tonight.
