Re: Broadband Boost

So it would seem.

Before the free "Broadband Boost" I had around 50mb.

After the boost I had around 60mb.

On 5 Jan I recontracted.

Now I am back to around 50mb.

Re: Broadband Boost

You must have a white Openreach modem as well, if you are using a home hub 4?

Like this Home hub 4 with modem

Re: Broadband Boost

From a brief search - it appears that info is available from the router not the hub, and I have no way to access the router software.

Its held in the Openreach modem as shown on my picture, and is not acccesible unless you have an unlocked modem.

All new installations use either a home hub 5, home hub 6, or people use their own VDSL modem/router (from £30)

All these provide connection information, so at the moment there is no way of telling whether you have a boosted speed.

Re: Broadband Boost

run btspeedtester and when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post results http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/

Re: Broadband Boost

Done, but only get speed results, no router stats.

Just get Best Effort Test.
