LOS , loss of signal, so no light being received at the ONT , the problem could be anywhere between the headend and your address , affecting many , or could be from the CBT to your house and affecting only you .
If you know of any near neighbours with FTTP ( not necessarily BT customers but on Openreach FTTP ) , if they are also having problems ( LOS ) it indicates a problem affecting more than just you .
If you have reported the issue , there isn’t much else you can do until Openreach fix whatever the issue is , if you haven’t reported the issue , it’s a good idea to do so , even if you have to wait in a queue .
