Broadband dropping out on smart hub

Broadband was not great with Home hub 6 so on advice fron BT bought smart hub. All set up ok and  blue light stays on most of time but even when lit broadband on wired or wireless keeps dropping out. BT say its all ok but its not and can even when on it takes ages to download anything.

the hh6 is the smart hub so not sure what is different

post stats from advanced settings then technical log information

try quiet line test  dial 17070 option 2 should be quiet and best with corded phone

enter your phone number and post results  remember delete number  https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

are you currently using test socket with a filter to see if that helps your connection?

Sorry was hh5 now hh6- mys mistake.

Quiet test all ok and had tried test socket last time I spoke with BT on online chat- this made no difference. Will I try again with test socket and filter?

Did you get the drop outs with the HH5? If not put it back in and return the HH6 for a refund then buy a decent router.

from your stats the hub has been connected for 3+ days

you are obviously a long way from the exchange and also based on your connection a long way from the street cabinet

Fibre runs past our house to exchange 1.2 miles away and then back to us on old copper on poles. 3 months ago all was fine with few drop outs- somethings eems to have changed. Hub has been on for weeks and whilst it says 3 days our signal has gone several times today- whilst blue light stays on

As happened on both hubs is it just the wifi?  You have split the bands and changed mode but I would also select manual channels and see if that helps
