Re: Broadband in my area

Wow, joined today, and resurrected a post over 16 months old,  that was marked as having an accepted solution anyway to make what you think is a valid point , IMHO all you have done is make yourself look a little foolish.
If someone posts , on a BT Consumer forum, that it doesn’t matter if you change provider it’s the same network provider , and the comment is made in the same post as a link to the BT wholesale speed checker , then it doesn’t take a genius to realise that it’s referring to providers that use Openreach, there is no need to caveat the comment.

Re: Broadband in my area

I’m just trying to prevent anyone coming across this post, in the future, going away thinking that no other provider can give better speeds – as suggested in the statement: “The infrastructure will be the same whichever provider you use, changing provider won't change your speed.”

If that makes me look a little foolish in your eyes, then so be it.
