Broadband speeds dropping after 8pm every evening.

Hi, hoping to get some help here regarding an issue I've had for a few months now.

I am on the Fibre 2 package which throughout the morning and afternoon gives me the correct 60-70Mbps download and around 18Mbps upload which is good. However since around the end of March (The time which I first took it up with the BT Twitter support) I have noticed every evening past 8pm I have used the internet I am getting a tonne of buffering and lag in online games. I ran a bunch of speed tests with the link they gave me and I'm averaging anywhere between 25-35Mbps on a wired connection. The WiFi is around 10Mbps. In an attempt to stop lag I'm having to switch the ethernet cable back and forward between my PC and console as I'm normally gaming around this time in the evening or watching streams however it is still noticeable.
I don't have a single drop out or connection issue throughout the daytime at all, it's only at the point 8pm comes around that I begin to notice issues.

After going round in circles of different advisers on Twitter I figured I may have a better chance here, they only seem to run tests for me mid-day when it's all fine and don't take in to consider the multiple times I've told them the issue is only past 8pm in the evening.
I have posted my recent Speedtest here, I have a few from previous days and some tests I ran before 8pm showing that all is fine before.

Any help would be great thanks as I feel like I'm not getting my moneys worth for the service I pay for when I want to use it most.

Re: Broadband speeds dropping after 8pm every evening.

welcome to the BT community forum where customers help customers and only BT employees are the forum mods

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if  HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .

Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

Run btspeedtester with Ethernet connection when you have a good download speed and then again when poor  make sure there is nothing else running and you are connected direct to pc/hub and no powerline adapters

enter your phone number and post results  remember to delete number   https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem

Re: Broadband speeds dropping after 8pm every evening.

Are there any bits of information on my router stats that I should be blocking out before posting?

I ran the quiet line test and could hear nothing.

I can post results I took from 9th July, however if you need a fresh set via the diagnostic I will do another set tomorrow afternoon + evening.

These are the results from the phone number check, the bottom section of writing is cut off due to the file size being too big to post, let me know if you need to see that also;

Re: Broadband speeds dropping after 8pm every evening.

Don't worry about the bottom of the checker being cut off you've supplied the info necessary. Someone will ask one of the mods to check for congestion at the exchange and one may post here for further info if needed.

Re: Broadband speeds dropping after 8pm every evening.

As @pippincp  posted I have asked mods to check your exchange and cab for possible congestion problem which could cause the speed problem you have. Mods will post here
