Has anyone ever experienced an issue such as this.
We moved into a new build property 2.5 years ago and only standard adsl was available. This week fibre has been enabled but it wont let me order as it says the length of the line is too long to get Superfast speeds. This doesnt make sense to me because as you can see below im actually closer to the cabinet than other houses that can get it. This is affecting my row of houses in particular and what worries me is we were the first houses built on this side of the development yet we cant order it. Could this be a switch that hasnt been enabled by the engineer in the cabinet or is there a reasonable reason for this as doesnt make any sense to me?
The cable would not run direct from the cabinet, so you may actually be near the end of that cable run.

I get what your saying but them houses were not built when the cable was run - it would have been fields so i would have presumed they would have run the cables in the ground on the road. At least im hoping so.
This was the results of that website
What cabinet number and exchange name was it showing and did you use your phone number, and not just the address and postcode?
It was cabinet number 45 and exchange name CHESTER CENTRAL
Someone on this forum may be able to give you some information on that cabinet.
Found the lookup site.
|Cabinet P45||FTTC being Connected, live due by February 2018||Phase 18a||Huawei||CH3 6GJ|
How does that postcode on that link I gave, relate to where you are, and the other people are?
Were both the same postcode. Its just im number 3 on the street and they are number 25.
And are you both on the same cabinet?
If you know their phone number, then try it in the broadband checker to see if its the same cabinet.
