Re: Bt infinity getting worse

Test results
download 42.51 max achievable 45.14
Acceptable 40 - 45.14

Upload 8.5 max achievable 20.

This is what annoys me as I was getting speed of just over 50 only a few months ago and that was stable for over 18 months.

I'm worried about making a fault complaint and them saying, nope all good pay us £130

Re: Bt infinity getting worse

If they don't find a fault you will not be charged but if they do find a fault on your side of the test socket you will be charged hence the reason to check for noise using the test socket.

If there is still noise using the test socket it means there is a problem on BT's side of the socket and it is their responsibility to get it fixed at no cost to you.

Re: Bt infinity getting worse

There is still slight static, but it is very faint in main socket and test socket.

Re: Bt infinity getting worse

There should be no noise. As I have said, report a phone fault and when that is fixed your broadband will improve.
