Hi I have cables under the pavement outside my house that were put in several years ago, by Cable and Wireless I think. Can they be connected into my house if so who will do the work. I am a BT customer.

Why are you asking if these cables can be connected to your house. What are you hoping to achieve?

Well to get full fibre optic cables instead of the overhead copper cable coming into the house to supply broadband and land line. TIA

Re: Cables

If you are a BT customer and Full Fibre is available at your address you just need to order it and BT will arrange for it to be installed at your address. Openreach will be the company that carry out the installation.

Openreach would not use the cables that you suspect are under your pavement. Fibre is a different technology from the copper cables that are most likely under he pavement and can not be used.

They would most likely just run the Fibre into your property via the same route as the present day telephone cables.

...And, I believe, Cable and Wireless are Virgin, not BT.

Re: Cables

Possibly, possibly not. Depends on how Openreach provide the fibre infrastructure at your location.
