I can understand why you thought that the presents of a second LAN port could be usefull and imo it should have 4,but that would render the HH3 obsolete.

In fact if OR had just left the modem/router as it was intended I and others would have been saved the expense of buying a Draytek 2750n or other combined unit.

Maybe that might happen in the future,?,but either way OR/BT will still control the unit,at least getting my own modem/router has spared me from that.

As it stands the LAN2 port is not used,it has just been left in but proberly disconnected internally.

Its still connected and active. If you hack the modem it becomes useful again.
