Sorry - slightly off topic (but related).
So is this the **bleep** way of getting a mod to actually take note of your problem? To write in the subject heading "Mod please help"?
Becuase a few posts below this I've had an issue which I first reported on 10 days ago and have now bumped back up because it didn't sort itself out and every single mod has decided to simply not bother with it.
I'm assuming mods generally just like to look at the nice and easy ones and ignore anything that might potentially cause them a little hassle?
As I said - sorry for posting into this thread - just though as it was one a mod had bothered to look at they might spot my desperate plea for help.
David,
As my thread was just hijacked can you also please advise why my connection keeps droppign and my ip changes daily as per the excerpt from my HH5 log above please.
More importantly how can this be stopped as it is driving me mad and no one is prepared to say why it is happenening or what it is doing.
I'd like to know please.
David,
I think you missed my point, the HH5 ip changes are being done remotely

not through a fault on the line or with the equipment that I can see, please see the excerpt from the log I posted earlier today.
I'm actually onto my 3rd HH5 so would be a bit concerned if this was at fault and would question the build quality. Every HH5 I've had has done this.
And yet again the HH5 has just lost it's connection and now my download speed has fallen yet again!!!!!

Well my HH3B dropped out for exactly the same reason this morning at 4am after almost 2 days connected, the longest connection I've managed in almost a month now
As others had suggested I've now put the HH5 on with the ECI modem, lets see what happens now although it looks to be something other than the HH5 causng this.
I've also lost some 8Mb off my download speed and not at all happy.
BT WE STILL WANT ANSWERS!
