Cancellation of my 24 months contract within the first month
I’ve been an expatriate resident in the U.K. Due to the ongoing financial turmoil (Since BREXIT) and the current COVID19 impact, I had to leave the country for good. Less than a month ago, I got a 24 months’ broadband contract which I’m trying to cancel in less than 1 month’s time of my use. BT has asked an approximate penalty of £ 450. Given my distress situation, I’m in no position to afford this. What to do???
