I had previously many years ago (Jun 2012) FTTP 330/30 installed. Since then I have downgraded from this and changed package.
When I call up and speak with BT Customer Service they say the highest I can get is 150/30 speed.
When I upgraded at the beginning of the year they said I could only get Superfast Fibre 3. Last week I received another letter to say I can upgrade to Ultrafast for a special offer. So I called up today and was told this was an upgrade only to minium 150 guaranteed but the person was not sure either. I can not upgrade online as it comes up with an error.
But the BT checker says the below, is anyone else having this issue or can help? I am so confused.
You can get a speed guarantee of 150Mb with our new Ultrafast Fibre 2, and you can get BT TV. See below for your personal speed range.
try phoning the FTTP team and see if they can help/clarify 08005874787
Yes just looked up the difference, back in 2012 the install took two days and was really interesting to see the engineer working with the fibre. I tried saying that I have FTTP/H but I presume the ordering system says I do not.
I just checked with zen ISP checker and this also confirms Full Fibre (FTTP) connectivity Avg. 300/50
Yes is coming via the same box on the wall (ONT, has 4 ethernet ports). My phone line even does not use copper anymore and uses the ONT box.
thank you again for your help
Then there is no reason why you can't have 330/30, bizarre!
Unfortunately the mods are unable to deal with FTTP queries so can only suggest you contact the FTTP team again.
