Confused - Am I on 38mb or 76mb?

As you can see below, my speeds are well above average for 38mb which I am apparently paying for. However, when my line was tested by the engineer he said I was getting nearly 80mb and had apparently been upgraded for free. So, basically, I'm a bit confused. I don't know whether my broadband is underperforming (if it is 76mb) or whether it's dramatically overperforming (if it is 38mb). Any advice would be brilliant!

with these speed results you must be on infinity 2

 

if you have hh5 can you go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and post stats

as you can see from your data conenction rate you are virtually on infinity 2 max of 80/20mb

Yes, but I am not getting anywhere near these speeds. I am very close to the exchange, too. Is there anything I can do to get nearer the 80mb mark?

can you run btspeedtester and when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post results   must be done with wired connection

On Infinity it doesn't matter how close to the exchange you are, it's how close to the street cabinet that counts. You must be pretty close as the modem in the HomeHub has synchronised at a connection data rate of virtually 80/20 as shown by the modem stats.

If the speed test further diagnostics show no problem with your IP Profiles then any speed drop at your devices is probably due to your home ethernet cabling / WiFi set up.

Are you running the test wired or wireless from computer to router (HomeHub?).

The slowdown you are seeing could easily be due to wireless connection.
