Currently syncing at 34541Kbps, any point upgrading to BT Infinity Plus?

Go to solution

I'm currently on the old BT Infinity 1, would upgrading to Plus improve my speed or is this just what I can get? I'd definitely like a bit more speed and Virgin isn't in my area.

I'm using a Billion router, haven't used a BT one in ages, I have a super old one in a cupboard somewhere.

Based on what you have posted, there is no point in upgrading, as your line cannot support a higher speed.

@SteveBB  I agree with what has been said about the speed, as you have Fibre broadband already you wouldn't see a speed improvement however with the BT Plus service there are other benefits such as the complete wifi guarantee and our keep connected promise should your broadband ever become faulty.

This helpful article and video may help you choose if BT Plus is the right option for you.
