DLM Reset

Hey there,

Hoping somebody can help me out with a DLM Reset if possible. Speeds have gradually been dropping since September last year and had some instability last few months leading to drop outs, pings have climbed but has not recovered.

Router stats and info from BTW included.

Re: DLM Reset

Until the instability is fixed there is absolutely no point in a DLM reset as DLM will just lower your speed again.

Re: DLM Reset

Thanks for your input.

I've suspected its been a hardware issue used the Openreach ECI VDSL router had recently changed over to the zyxel vmg8924-b10a which has been better but DLM still doing its tricks. Previously had 79/20 out of it which is a real shame about the drop.

Re: DLM Reset

Just wanted too post an update. Issue has been caused by a bridge tap which was not noticed by the engineer that came to install the connection first time around.

Bridge Tap has been removed so a DLM reset would now be advantageous

Re: DLM Reset

Once DLM sees the line as stable it should automatically reset itself. A DLM reset cannot be performed on VDSL the same way as ADSL.
