Hi, we've recently had a line fault repeared by an engineer along with a DLM reset because the fault completely ruined the speed. I have a screenshot of what our speeds where a couple weeks ago before this fault occured and what they are currently. We had the 3db noise margin active, will this reactive itself again because it gave us a 10mb increase which is really good for this household.

Yes, if needed G.IMP will reactivate, takes about 10 days from DLM reset.

Re: DLM

Yes, but its academic as it is the actual data rate that matters. The maximum data rate is just a theoretical figure taking in to account your line parameters at the time. Its low now because G.Inp and 3dB margin haven't kicked in yet.

ok thanks. Is there any specific reason why the line attention decreased?

By 0.2dB?

Re: DLM

A 0.2dB negligable attenuation decrease can be put down to the temperature of the copper wire at the time of measurement.
