Daily disconnections.

In the past two weeks I have been getting frequent disconnections, sometimes several in the space of 30mins.

I have a relatively new Smart hub, with Bt infinity,and my event log shows each drop as DSL is down, followed by a PPP LCP send termination request (user request).

I've run a quiet line test and tried the test socket, neither has solved the problem. Unfortunately that is the limit of my network knowledge as I am NOT technically minded. It seems others have had this same problem, but I can't find a definite solution anywhere on this, so does anyone know what might be causing this and how to solve it?

The smart hub doesn't seem all that smart.

You can try reporting it on 151 and possibly get a replacement or engineer if they detect a line problem or get yourself a 3rd party router. Prices start around £40.
