Day 1 into Infinity 3

Go to solution

I never knew I had a FTTH set up at a new build, but happy with the consistent 70mb connection speed and 10mb file download speed for £32 a month, but yesterday I decided to go for INFINITY 3 with the 160 connection speed.

Day one into this new connection, I was able to hit 195mb max on ethernet test with a 5ms ping. However, what was astonishing is my download speed, it max at 30Mb per sec from yourtube downloads -from 10Mb.

I was told the speed will settle in the next 10 days but so far very positive.

When i spoke to the FTTH team,he offered 200mb for £45 or 300mb for £52, I guess as been able to hit 195MB per sec connection means BT must have upgraded the previous 160mb offer. You get upto 200mb on Infinity 3.

Yes that's correct, Infinity 3 is 200mbps. Infinity 3 is 300 (actually 330mbps "connection rate").
