Thinking of switching to EE as a little cheaper and supposedly a better router.
Is the service exactly the same?
ie. same level of service, no ports blocked, etc?
Is there anything I will lose/miss out on I have with BT I wont have with EE?
No difference at all.
@MandGwrote:Is there anything I will lose/miss out on I have with BT I wont have with EE?
That depends what you have with BT, for example BT offer free email and cloud storage, if you just sign up to EE then you lose the cloud storage and the email is downgraded to basic email.
If you call BT and regrade to EE, you can keep your cloud and your email remains premium like you have from BT, obviously that only applies if you use them extras.
Otherwise, no difference, same network, same or better equipment depending on what package you signup for, same UK/Ireland based contact centres.
Therefore begs a question, why spend all this money on rebranding BT to EE?
Stew
Because the aim is for EE to be the residential consumer brand and BT will be the business brand.
OK, so you have a retail brand - BT, so we will rename all our TV service, transfer our BT customers to EE branding
What does that actually achieve?
