Different broadband speeds down the same road

Hi there,

I live in the post code rm14 3px with basic broadband and speed from 0.1 - 0.3 (ooooooh i hear here say!)

across the road and down the bottom of the dead end road, 2 mins walk they have the postcode rm14 3qh and they get ultra fast bb and speeds of 100+ how on earth can that be am i told that my area cant have fast bb in my area even though the problem is being "worked" on.

i know the issue too.... my postcode connects to the north of the village and those across the road connect from the south, why cant we be on the same as them, its in the area with such a short distance instead of the long distance to the exchange i have at the moment.... any ideas what when where why how?

Re: Different broadband speeds down the same road

FTTP is not available.

For all ADSL and WBC Fibre to the Cabinet (VDSL or G.fast) services, the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.

This line is on a Market B Exchange.

and a number from down the lane ...

Exchange SOUTH OCKENDON is served by Cabinet 14
