Different disconnects HH5

We read about disconnects & reboots, but are we talking about the same issue.
I have noticed that when I check the event log just after a disconnect I cannot find any corresponding entry.
I have also noticed that the VDSL/DSL shows no disconnect (up time)

I have updated to .204 and my up-time shows 4days, 17hours - Great.
I had 2 disconnects yesterday evening (1700hrs) in 30 mins.
The up-time shows nothing & there is no entry in the log.

If there is no entry in the log how can anyone trace the fault.

How can you tell you had disconnects? Wifi?

No wifi at all. I got fed up with the 'help desk' blaming wifi when I used to call that I disabled all, inc Fon and went cable only.

The only way I can tell, is if it happens when I am sitting at the PC. I then go & check my wifes iMac and confirm.

Yup, help desk used to say that it was a PC fault - hence the iMac check.

I have no idea how many disconnects actually happen because I am not sitting at the PC all the time. Maybe 4-5 hours/day max.
