Could be one wire disconnected in DSLAM but needs an engineer visit in any case.

Hi all,
Sorry for delayed reply, I had to head out.
Spoke to BT through the live chat and they have booked a slot for an engineer to visit. Thanks for all the advise nonetheless.

Hello,

I had an engineer visit this afternoon and he played around and also performed a DLM reset.

here are the hub stats now:

So, download speed has improved a little but is still much lowe than what should be achieved, maximum data rate also seems low? Is this normal?

I know after a DLM reset it can take a while for speeds to recover back to normal but still, should it be this low?

There's still something not right, your max rate was 25M previously.

Thanks for getting back following the engineer visit. @licquorice  is correct. It still looks like there’s a problem with the connection. Are you still in contact with the faults team? If not then we might need to take a closer look at this for you.

Morning,
I spoke to the live chat again but they suggested just monitoring the speeds for 48hrs and said that it should recover.

I just don't understand why the max data rate has dropped so low. Is that likely to recover? If not I'll get on the phone and request another engineer visit.
