Once 6pm hits, my connection goes to **bleep**. I watch streams quite a lot, during the day it's no problem. Come the evening, the streams keep buffering.
I'm on Infinity 2 and usually get around 60+ down during the day, in the evening it's down to around 30. Looks like my exchange hasn't been upgraded in a very long time, the most recent information says:
Max DSL Upgrade Status
Good News, BT have finished enabling this exchange for Max DSL products.
Products became available from 31/03/06.
Anyone else from Northern Ireland having similar problems?
Please can you please provide http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ results for different times of the day, including the further diagnostics page? The last test needs to be done at peak times so the results are stored on the BT server.
These must be done using a computer connected to the home hub, using an Ethernet cable.
Which exchange are you connected to?
You can find it out from this page.
Broadband availability checker
Please remember to edit out your phone number before you post the results.
There may be congestion issues on that exchange.
Hi @corky20 and thanks for posting.
There aren't any reports of congestion at the Portadown exchange so once you've posted the evening test results, including the further diagnostics, drop me over an email with your details and I'll look into this for you. You'll get the contact the moderators link in my profile.
