My local exchange (Rockingham)which is half a mile away has been showing accepting orders, but when I check on the BT website if my number can get Infinity, computer says NO.
I called BT to ask if they could check if I could get it, I was told it sometimes takes a week after the exchange is enabled to filter through and update their systems??? Is that right??
It's not the cabinet in my village as I think we are connected directly to the exchange. Also is there a Dept that can tell me if it is possible on my line, so I can make other plans if not.
Currently get very low ADSL signal.

what does it say if you enter your phone number? If it sats EO instead of cabinet number then you will not get fibre at present https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html
Being connected directly to the exchange at the moment means you will not get infinity unless there are plans to create new cabinets which reading past posts is like finding hens teeth
Use this link to see what it says https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/pls/adsl/adslchecker.welcome hopefully you are actually connected to a cabinet. If you are then email openreach email@example.com with cabinet number, name, address and phone number and wait for a reply.
Whilst the exchange is enabled there are many cabinets which are linked to it so they are upgraded in batches - Some will never be upgraded. This process can take some time and individual cabinets can be delayed for many reasons. Mine is currently indefinitely delayed because of adoption problems with the Council.
