Re: FTTC connection 300 feet from cab poor downstream

I suppose a faulty home hub could be causing the issue, if the frontend circuitry was generating noise?

Swapping the home hub with another, would prove that.

Or you could just have a bad cable pair.

Hi @stoswald,

We can run a few tests from our side and try work out what's causing this. To get in touch with us, click on my user name and then on contact the mods. Make sure you change the site view to Full site view instead of mobile before you can see the contact link.

Thanks

DanielS

I don't see the moderator contact image when I click on his name DanielS or DannyS, just wonder if I haven't been invited yet?

He is probably offline now.

I will ask a moderator to post another link, but it will be tomorrow.

That does sound like a faulty home hub. I would mention it on the contact form when you get the invite.

A faulty home hub power supply or circuitry, could cause interference or poor performance.
