FTTC
Superfast Broadband is not G.Fast right ? Or can it be ?
Speed is capped at 80mbps , but can that still be a G.Fast line ?
TP Link routers cannot connect to G.Fast or they can't sync, which could explain my issues. But I thought it wasn't G.Fast for FTTC Superfast.

Re: FTTC
you would know if you had G.FAST if capped at 80mb then you have fibre 2 with speed cap of 80mb assuming line can handle that

Re: FTTC
How would I know ? It would be a faster speed ? G.Fast is more like 300mbps right ?
It's just TP Link routers cannot use G.Fast BT lines, but the SH2 would be OK. I can't use a TP Link router on my line but I can use a SH2.
I'm just trying to eliminate reasons why a TP Link won't work.

Re: FTTC
What does it say for your line/address? https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/
Post results here but exclude address or phone number.
Based on what technology is being used you may need to set VLAN id

Re: FTTC
@LeVzi From your other thread, your TP Link connects but has problems, if you were on G.Fast it wouldn't connect at all, nor would it connect unless VLAN id was set to 101.

Re: FTTC
VLAN ID is set to 101.
But if it wouldn't connect at all to G.Fast then this isn't relevant. Cheers.
