I'm sure lots of people must have got it working fine, with newer\more powerful hardware. The overclock I did (using Advanced Tomato Firmware) was from 1Ghz to 1.2Ghz. It will likely go to 1.4Ghz but I don't want to push it.

I don't really need the extra download speed anyway, it's the upload speed I'm paying the extra for, it'll just constantly annoy me if I don't see 900Mbps+ when I do a speedtest though!

Yea, its just a odd one, my upload speed is 117mbps with both BT SH2 on its onw, the Orbi direct connect and Orbi with BT SH2.

If i use the BT SH2 and attach the Orbi to it then I get 892mbps d/l with a 117 u/l but not if I bypass the BT hardware. I wonder what BT has against Netgear lol, will look into overclocking the Orbi but did not think I would need to as the Orbi RBK50 is not that old.
