FTTP - Digital Voice and the DSL Checker

Go to solution

I've been on FTTP for 1.5 years and went on to Digital Voice few weeks ago, and purely out of interest I decided to have a look at the DSL Checker. It no longer recognises my telephone number that I have had for over 30 years!.

It comes up with an error:  "There is no data available for this number. This could be either because it is not a BT line or it is a new BT number that has just been provided. Most new numbers will appear on the checker 24 hours after BT has installed the line".

Is this because I'm on Digital Voice now and not the copper wire? I don't have any issues but just interested.

it is because you are on DV  This problem has existed for nearly 2 years since I got DV and I have reported but nothing happens
