FTTP Full Fibre / SFP+ modem

I am in new build house with FTTP, currently have BT Smart Hub but it’s not providing connectivity I desire. So I’ve gone a little OTT built 19” rack with Unifi Dream Machine Pro/ switch and several AP’s etc as well as CAT6a throughout house.

My question is; can I get true fibre modem? My gateway has SFP+ WAN so ideally I’d like that connection but someone more enterprise opposed to consumer.

Thank you in advance.

Re: FTTP Full Fibre / SFP+ modem

Your modem (ONT) will be fibre on the external side and Ethernet internally. You won't be able to connect to it optically so your SFP will be of no use.

That's a shame honestly, but I get the ONT has got software on it to authenticate the connection that the Dream Machine Pro cannot match - I know Virgin Media's box does
