Re: FTTP Infinity Speeds

OK, so that might work with my laptop, but what about my iPad, smartphones, sky box, apple tv etc

Everything is near enough wireless now, so if i get crappy speeds, then it makes life a bit more difficult.

I was getting consistently high FTTC wireless speeds at my last address about 2 miles down the road (and granted the BT cabinet was right outside my house), and now its meagre and I'm not sure why. The only that has changed really, is the fact I now have FTTP - which is supposedly miles better !

Re: FTTP Infinity Speeds

Ok, maybe you should be looking at a replacement for the HH5 then. There are many 3rd party routers with excellent reputations for good wireless.

Re: FTTP Infinity Speeds

I don't think either of those are useful in this situation TBH.

Re: FTTP Infinity Speeds

High Price for a router
Not very good wireless - no AC support
One has an ADSL modem the other is VDSL - no use for FTTP

Better routers are available
Netgear R7000 Nighthawk AC1900
Asus RT-AC68U
TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750
