it may be you splitter has given up after all this time  surprised it has lasted this long  maybe your connection will improve when you use a proper filter

Re: Faceplate

@puppykins

There is no test socket behind there.

Any of the sockets look like this?

Do you have a microfilter you can use instead, if so unplug that splitter, and plug the microfilter in.

Re: Faceplate

your phone socket is not same as does not have split front face   you should have received a filter when you got you hub

if it is the splitter that is causing your problems then you will probably be charged £85 for engineer visit

Re: Faceplate

The engineer is supposed to call me within the next few days to arrange a visit. Would you advise me to cancel and try the microfilter first? Jeez, if only I'd come on here first!

Re: Faceplate

That is not just a splitter. It is also a filter however it's that old (I haven't seen one for over 10 yrs) It's almost guaranteed to have failed.

Re: Faceplate

@puppykins You would have been sent a couple of filters with your Home Hub. Do you still have the box it came in?
