Failed switch over from BT to EE

Go to solution

Hi all,

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed already, just had an email from BT

I'm in N.Ireland, basic FTTP 900mb halo product, judging from the comments ref the switchover to EE not in any mad hurry but thought it was strange as I thought they where pushing ahead to move everyone over.

“We recently got in touch to let you know about moving your broadband from BT to EE.

Unfortunately, we were unable to make the switch. But don't worry - you'll remain on BT Broadband and your package will be unchanged.”

Cheers, Willie

Yes it has been discussed.

The switch over has now been cancelled and is no longer going ahead.

See link

You can however if you wish move to EE but you will not be classed as a new customer and there seems little point in doing so unless you have a pressing need and are at the end of your BT fixed term contract.

Why are you looking at Halo? This is just an add on and IMHO gives to nothing except an increase it price.
