Faster bb keeps dropping

Go to solution
Hi I have faster bb which is infinty below 24mps. I am having an issue bb keeps dropping but the blue light stays on my hub of for about 45 seconds. this is on a wired connection and wireless devices and all drop the same time. I have been sent a home hub 6 and still happening I have changed all of the internal cables to the master but not the master I do no what I am doing as I am a engineer for a differnet company and can't there service where I live but that's a different story. Called bt support and they test the line no issues can't hear any noise on the line but when I check the router logs I see that the hub loses its ppoee connection and trys to reconncet and it does and then I am back online. I want to get an engineer to check out there side as i can only see it being that but 129.99 just incase it's not is a joke. Anyone got any ideas.

Does this still happen when connected directly to the test socket?

A microfilter will cost less than £129.99.

When we ask you to connect to the test socket it is to rule out any of your internal wiring therefore avoiding the charge.

Can you not ask a friend if they have a spare one? I've collected 8 over the years of using broadband and probably thrown away more than that.Smiley Very Happy

AS you know how to access the logs can you get the full connection details? On the HH% it's in troubleshooting/helpdesk. Lines 1 - 12 will suffice.
