Re: Disappointed

You'll have to take that up with the case management team you are dealing with.

Re: Disappointed

Perhaps you can post a new screen shot of your line from
https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/
( to show your last observed speed and fibre availability, perhaps you could do two checks, one with your address and one with your phone number, to compare the two )
Probably something you have already done, but have you confirmed the correct number is on your line, dialling 17070 from your landline, the AVR should state what number the line is defined as, or ring your own landline number from another phone and check you can answer the call.
I asked if your address was in some way out of the ordinary and you answered that the address hasn’t changed , non standard addresses can be difficult to match, the critical point here may be why the DSL checker shows no FTTC available , yet you had it in the past, the checker shows FTTPod, this indicates your ‘cab’ is enabled , but you are too far away to benefit, so is your address causing the issue ?

It still remains the case that if you had a FTTC in the past but the ‘system’ that tells all providers ( not just BT, but Now, Plusnet, Sky , Talk Talk etc ) that you cannot get FTTC , then how did you get it previously , something must have changed, including an error introduced into the wholesale address checker, AFAIK, providers cannot override this system, so if the system currently says No, then why did it previously say Yes ?

Re: Disappointed

@iniltous  Do you actually read threads before you post? There are no spare ports at the cab which is why @Roger1956  cannot get FTTC. Add to that the tag on the line.

Or, as previously stated, the cabinet is full ?

Re: Disappointed

The previous DSL checker return didn’t show waiting list, it showed no FTTC availability but FTTPod was ( an indication that the recorded distance the property is away from the cab is too great to be of any benefit ), there is a Mod reply stating that there are no spare ports, but even if there were , given that the checker says  no availability then how would an order proceed anyway, plus the OP has had this problem for a couple of months, how do you know there were no ports between the 2nd of Jan the date the OP quotes and the 15th Feb when the Mod posted ?,

if it were as simple as OP moved from a NowTV to BT when no spare ports, ( so now waiting list) and the checker displayed that, this post wouldn’t be quite as long as the 4 pages it is
