Have it in the test socket at the moment & doesn’t make a difference unfortunately.
i have socket no2 on the diagram - currently have it open and plugged straight into the test socket.
how do I check if the filter is ok?
probably just by phoning home and making sure hub does not drop conenction
do you have any extension sockets in other rooms whether in use or not? anything else connected to the phone line?
Phoned the landline & the connection held fine.
no extensions in the house at all, only the one socket in the house.
anyone have any other ideas as I’m a bit stumped!?
you basically have covered it have you as a last resort tried a different cable from filter to hub?
if no better then you need to phone 151 and get broadband engineer but that will be a long phone queue
