Full Fibre - Replace ONT & Router

Hello, 

I recently upgraded to Full Fibre 900 and I've been looking into changing the default router to probably a unifi dream machine pro. My question is can I connect the fibre directly to a compatible sfp+ transceiver or would there be a issue with openreach?

Not possible, the service is locked to the serial number of the ONT. You can't use your own sfp.

You can of course use your own router.

Yeah I know. I just wanted to know if they do use the ONT serial or I can use the fibre directly. I'll just use normal wan then
