G.FAST rollout

Does anyone have any info on when Milton Keynes (SMBA) will be added to the rollout list?

Thanks

Paul

Re: G.FAST rollout

No one except Openreach.

It's commerically sensitive information.

Is the 60meg+ you get now not enough?

Re: G.FAST rollout

I can't imagine having 60 and still wanting more. I'm desperate to get fibre and hopefully have at least 20mbps. What do you even need the extra for?!

Re: G.FAST rollout

The technology is there, Openreach should be pushing G.Fast or FTTP nationally.

I've spoken to an Openreach engineer who has said the technology is available.

Like Heath, education, transport, water, gas...there seems to be an issue over building infrastructure, only by piecemeal.

So yes, I get 60meg on FTTC but if the tech is there...why wait?

Re: G.FAST rollout

It's not yet ready for national commercial roll out,

It's still in the pilot phase.
