G.Fast: Openreach says yes, BT check says No.

So, I have G.Fast in my local cabinant. When I check my phone number with Openreach for Ultrafast, it says, go order! Yay!

BT G.Fast 01 - OR OK.jpg

When I use my phone number again in BT.com to check for packages, I get 80Mbps only (it starts to tail off below the 100Mbps gurantee a couple of doors up the street - I tested with my neighbours house numbers).

I'm aware of the distance limit, but with both giving me different results, which one is right?

Looking at the handback threshold it is possible you are too far away from the cab. Give the FTTP team a ring, they will be able to advise you better. 0800 587 4787
