Re: Gradually Reduced Speed?

Thanks pippincp.

Atm I am using the Openreach model. It has been connected for 14 days straight now. Is it ok to unplug it and plug in the HH?

Re: Gradually Reduced Speed?

Yes it shouldn't cause any issues. If you are planning on going back to the modem later then leave it a couple of hours.

Re: Gradually Reduced Speed?

Those stats look OK and your speed is within estimated range so I can't see anything being done about it. As mentioned previously it is most likely crosstalk.

Re: Gradually Reduced Speed?

Thank you! Sounds like it is all out of my control then.

Do you know if it’s likely that I will move onto a lower noise margin? How long does it normally take for that to happen?

Re: Gradually Reduced Speed?

I rather suspect if your line is being affected by crosstalk noise, DLM will probably hold your noise margin to 6dB. Smiley Sad
