Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

If the DSL light flashes 3 times it indicates the firmware needs to be re-flashed.

Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

You have to use the reset method not the WAN Gui method.

Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

Yes done that.

The DSL light flashes many times, the 'status' screen show DSL intialising then trying to establish the link but then just keeps going around in loops failing to connect.

Plug the ECI back in and DSL establishes fine.

Not sure what else to try - could be a duff one I suppose.

Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

Which firmware are you trying to load?

Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

The H-Wolf B030SP08 with webgui which looks fine and loaded, it just won't seem to raise DSL at all.

Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

Yes, that's the one I use and it's fine. The only problem is the somewhat fickle re-flash process. Have you tried a long reset after re-flashing the firmware?

Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

Try a factory reset - press and hold the reset button for 10-15 secs, then release - this will reload the default configuration for the firmware you've just flashed - no config changes are needed.

Re: HG612 / Third Party Settings.

Inhad to flash the firmware 3 times in the end. I find trying to do a long reset a pain as most of the time it wouldnt reset.

The issue inhave is it takes almost 10 mins for the line to resync so i thoughtnit was a bad flash when in fact it was my line.

Whats the norm in regards to the time it takes to resync?

Also can younhave a look at the bellow stats and tell me what you think.  Im about 200m at most from my cabinet.  First 3 days of HH5 Infinity 2 i had 80/20 and now have 70/20.  Line was solid for 10 days on HH5 after it resynced from 80/20 to 70/20.

Feels like DLM is not letting go and my pings have went from around 10 to 26-30 for BBC.co.uk
