HH5 DSL Down several times a day

Hi,

I seem to be having a common problem with my HH5 in that my streaming and Skype calls are interrupted several times a day as the HH5 drops and reconnects the DSL Link.

The helpdesk on the HH5 lists the following under helpdesk and I am quiet a quiet line test:

1. Product Name: HomeHub5

2. Serial number: +076286+1541004585

3. Firmware version: v0.07.05.0A13-BT (Type B) Last updated 29/1/2016

4. Board version: 01

5. VDSL uptime: 0 days, 02:02:22

6. Data Rate: 2000 / 24998

7. Maximum Data Rate: 4435 / 28354

8. Noise Margin: 12.4 / 7.6

9. Line Attenuation: 35.1 / 27.5

10. Signal Attenuation: 0.0 / 0.0

11. Data sent/received: 90.6 MB / 399.0 MB

12. Broadband username: bthomehub@btbroadband.com

Any advice on how to get BT to take this seriously or how to stop it from happening myself would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Re: HH5 DSL Down several times a day

are you using the test socket with a new filter and router conencted to filter without using a phone extension cable?  when you conenct to test socket check that there is no dial tone at any extension socket
