Re: HH5 constantly dropping connection and restarting

With all these drops in connection I am really surprised the DLM has not taken action to increase noise margin and reduce your connection speed to try and stabilise your connection

Re: HH5 constantly dropping connection and restarting

I thinks its simply the low noise margin. I suppose in time, DLM will make adjustments to the line and decrease the connection speed, which will increase the noise margin.

I remember when the similar thing was tried on ADSL2+, and they changed the target SNR to 3DB, there were lots of complaints of disconnections, especially after dark, when there are more sources of interference.

We used to suggest that people disconnect their home hub, a number of times, to force DLM to change the parameters, and increase the SNR.
