Not a happy customer I took out a new 2 year  contract with Halo 2 i found out a couple of days that Halo 2 is no longer available in my area tried talking to customer services and they are not allowing me to change my package to Fibre 1, Spoken to Ofcom and they have told me that im in breach of my contract and should be able to change or move to a new provider within 30 days but BT tells me i have to wait 2 years before my contract is up.

Postcode area is KA19 8EZ.

Re: Halo 2 no longer available in my area but still paying for it

Halo has no area requirements, It's additional features for standard and fibre broadband.

You get the following on top of the normal broadband benefits :

Smart Hub 2
Keep connected promise
Fastest 4G speed (If you have BT mobile)
Double mobile data (If you have BT mobile)
No out of contract increase
Free tech expert support
No EHIS charge
Fibre 2 speeds minimum (If your line supports)

Ofcom must not of understood you or understand the package benefits.

Hi @Jason2721

Are you sure that you have got your terminology correct. Halo is a benefit added to broadband like keep connected and not a broadband product.
