Halo 3+

I have been offered an upgrade to Halo3+, from Halo2, for a very good price. However I don’t particularly want another mains dependent box cluttering up the house. Is it necessary to have the hybrid connect box active at all times after initial set up, but could be powered up if BB went down. I know that this may seem to be a waste of resources, but I’m interested in the other aspects of the offer.

Re: Halo 3+

I leave mine connected to the hub but powered off. On the two occasions that my BB, briefly, went down. Flipping on the plug socket had me connected via the Hybrid in a few mins.
Cheers

Re: Halo 3+

What if I intended to connect via Wi-fi, after initial set up? If Wi-fi works, I could site it in the garage, which is the nearest position albeit the other side of a wall.
